speedster 1923 - Sarel Bruwer, rare racer
built by HP Rose in the early 1920s. Raced in 1924
in an
attempt to beat the mail train from Cape Town to
Johannesburg
Although he did not succeed, he set a record of 38
hours 28
minutes. Rolling chassis found in 1960 rebuilt.

Jaguar XK150 1957 - Ron King New Zealand. The car
is believed to have come off the road going down
Magoebaskloof.

Maxwell 3-litre 1916 - Fritz Reitz, owned by the
Reitz family since 1954 having been acquired from
the original owner, Pieter Retief of Darling. Was
the 2nd car to be owned in Darling. Dismantled in
1926 and the chassis was used as a trailer for a
dinghy. Fortunately all the parts were packed away
carefully.
