Southern in the Mashonaland 100 in 1957, later
owned by Deryk Lamb, then Tendayi and around 1969
by Colin Morris. Later in South Africa, where I am
told the vehicle is rusting in a field.

LHD. One of the last 401s, shipped
on 14.11.1952 to Portugal. Sold to first owner
Snhr. Jero Moniz de Maia of Lisbon on 01.12.1952.
Later went to Mozambique then to Glasby in
Southern Rhodesia. Later owners include, Coventry,
Ifeipher, one of whom may be the person who owned
the car in Transkei. The car then went to Cape
Town in 1969 where it was owned by G.C. Kinnes in
1978. Later owned by Tyler, noted in the UK in
1990.

ex Rhodesia - Owned in South
Africa by Karl Lucouw, total basket case when
acquired having been out in the bush for many
years. Among the missing parts were the alloy
rocker covers - Karl heard of a Cooper Bristol
that had crashed in Lorenco Marques and traced the
remains, including the rocker covers.
