Classic Cars in Rhodesia

Make Citroen History
Year 1922 Built by C. 'Ted' McDonald from a pile of scrap parts, home built body around 1963/64. The 3rd owner is believed to have swapped a Chrysler tourer with a dentist in Choma in 1927 for the car. Used to hunt guinea fowl in the bush around Choma. The car was then given to the owner's sister in Umtali around 1930, she used the car until 1939 when it was put on the farm scrapeheap. Colour photo taken near lake McIlwane, outside Salisbury in 1964. Believed to have been taken to Germany by Ted's daughter.
