All steel body, believed to be 1 of 6 built by Budd
with all steel body, dual side mounts. Entered on
the first Umtali Run in 1959. Owned by Chris R.
Annesley around 1961/62. Later acquired by Norrie
Spicer - In 1968, whilst travelling at night on the
Vintage run to Beira, Norrie hit a Sonap petrol
bowser parked half in the road, damaging the left
side of the car (see pic). Currently owned by Howard
Butler in Harare, having acquired the car in the
1980s from Norrie's daughter.

Remains lie
near Chapman golf course in Harare. Believed to have
been brought into Zimbabwe from South Africa by
Chris Kirsten in the 1980s.
Another 1934/35 Airflow lies at Somabula, between
Gweru and Bulawayo, had been involved in a bad
rollover.
