Most of the
parts collected together in the 1960s by Ivan Glasby
of Bulawayo, from a farm near Shangani where the car
had been buried for over thirty years. The engine
was cleaned up and actually ran, Ivan also had had
new fenders made up. Parts acquired Mike Frudd in
1977 and the car was rebuilt over three years.
Mechanically original, the body was made by copying
an original car owned by Liefie Bosch in Port
Elizabeth, South Africa. Completed the 1980 AA Great
Zimbabwe run. Still owned by Mike in Harare.

Acquired by
the VCCM from the estate of Guy Acutt in the late
1990s. Guy had built the car from scrap several
years before that. Most of the body was built by
Guy, the head lights were found on a farm in
Nyamandlovu and the radiator was found in use as a
lightening conductor in Bellvue. The car sat at
Dulys in Bulawayo for many years before being
restored by the VCCM. Mostly made up of 1914 parts
thought the wings are not.
