artillery wheels which are not correct for this
model. Chassis and engine bought from Francis Newman
of Mount Hampden, Salisbury, body taken off a car
previously owned by Graham Gentles. Owned by Peter
Bartlett in 1965, known as Brahmaputra after the
river in India, where Peter was from. Rolled at some
stage and rebodied with a wooden pickup body. Later
sold to Neville Moore of Mhangura and later to A.J.
and Debbie Bradnick who farm south of Plumtree.

Sheet steel riveted to a framework of steel tubing.
Inspired by a postcard picked up in the UK. At the
rear are double doors with small oval windows, the
car has been SAVVA dated as 1924. Sign written
"Rileys Rolls Express Delivery" on the sides. Taken
to South Africa when Frank moved to Natal. Later
acquired by Ernie Young in Durban. |

from parts acquired from across the country by Dave
Edwards of Bulawayo. Body is from 1926 but the
running gear is believed to be 1920. The body was
put together from parts of two bodies that were
welded together, with new door skins and a hand made
bonnet. Still in Bulawayo in 2016.
