import to Rhodesia on 16.11.1965, just a few days
after Rhodesia declared Unilateral Independence.
Bill Thomson acquired the car from Mike Hatfield and
rebuilt the car to a high standard. Bill took the
car to Australia in 1982 and sold it to Anthony List
in 1988. Advertised for sale in Perth, Australia for
$50 000 around 2007, still with its Rhodesian Dunlop
tyres. Bought by Chris Kokkinis of Sydney.

the car had been moved to Port Elizabeth, it was
fitted with 14" Ford Falcon wheels and the dash was

Acquired new
from the factory by Mr and Mrs Wentworth and used to
tour the UK and Europe. It was then shipped to Cape
Town and driven to Salisbury, Rhodesia where it was
registered in 1972. Acquired in 2002 by Mac Bailey.
The car is different to South African built cars in
that it has a power bulge in the bonnet and the rear
side windows do not open.

sold to Ray Yeo who sold it to Nick Sherwood in
Joburg, Nick restored it & ran it for a number
of years in historic events. Car now sold. ( Not
sure to whom)
The photo of the white car is as it arrived from
South Africa into Rhodesia.
