Year 1951
Flat four engine, 1500cc, water cooled, twin weber carbs. Owned by Maurice Beckley of Bulawayo since c1980/81. The car was acquired without engine and one was sourced and overhauled before being fitted to the car.

Year 1952
Imported into Rhodesia as a new car, it returned to the UK in1960. Noted for sale with Nadder Valley Classics in July 2011. Comprehsnsively restored around 2001 by Morland Jones of Hammersmith, Lotus specialists.

Year
Found in a backyard in Avondale, Harare around 1985. Acquired by Brian Chadwick who built one car out of this and a second Jowett. Car currently on a farm in Glendale, has been vandalised but was believed to be for sale.

Acquired by Brian Chadwick when he purchased a house in Harare belonging to Maurice Beckley around 1984. Taken to Brian's farm in Glendale, where the car is still lying today. Believed to be for sale, car has been vandalised and is missing chrome and alloy bits. Photos below from around 1995.

Year 1953
Noted in Salisbury in the 1950s owned by Graham Sparks whose father was the bandmaster of the B.S.A. Police Band and who owned a Jowett sedan. Believed to have gone to South Africa.

Possibly chassis E3/SCL/955R, LHD shipped to Rhodesia 11 Jan 1954 to Broadway Motors, red with beige upholstery.

Year
Noted in Salisbury in the late 1970s, believed to have gone to South Africa.

Possibly chassis E1/SA/482R, RHD shipped to Rhodesia 12 December 1951 to the Broadway Service Station. Green with beige upholstery.

The SA has no opening boot and a wooden instrument panel, while the SC has an opening boot and a symmetrical metal instrument panel. Also the SA has a chrome surround to the windscreen, while the SC does not, just black rubber

RHD MK1A - Personal Export to Rhodesia by J.W.D. Goodall. Owned in the 1970s by F. Robinson of Salisbury, later taken to South Africa and sold to Roelle Van der Merwe. Sold around 1986/87 to Adolph Smith of Bloemfontein, who still owns the car, which is being restored.

RHD MK1A - Shipped as a new car to the Jowett importer in Capetown. the Triumph Garage. Owned in 1979 by Bill Mutschmann, of PO Box 2023, Salisbury, Rhodesia. Restored around the late 1970s? It appears Mr. Mutschmann was a reporter for CBS News. Later acquired by by Peter Swan, of Swan's Water Treatment, Muldersdrift South Africa. Said to be in pieces for restoration in 2013.
