Make Ferrari History
Year 1967
Delivered through Colonel Ronnie Hoare's Maranello Concessionaires to K. Houry of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzanian. Then in Kenya with Robin Houry, who raced the car on at least one occasion. Sold to Brian Lees around 1968 for £1500. Used by Brian in a bet against a friend who was a Pilot of a DC-3. Brian bet the friend that he could beat him to Mombassa, which he did, taking 3hrs 40 minutes along the newly tarmacked and very quite main road. In late 1970 the car was shipped to the UK and sold to Maranello Concessionaires for £3000. Sometime in the 1970s the car was owned by James Allington, restored in 1975 and apparently repainted Red with Black interior, though when sold much later (possibly around 2010)  through Talacrest the car was still Silver with Blue carpets?? The car was certainly Red in later years before being resprayed Blue with Yellow interior, probably when restored, at a cost of £16,000, for Eric Clapton who owned the car from 2003. Later with Chris Evans. Advertised by Talacrest in 2021, apparently for between £2.5 and £3 million, the car has passed through Talacrest a number of times including in 2010. Offered for sale at Christies Auction 02 Dec 2003, Not Sold. Noted at the inaugural Warren Classic Concours in 2013, the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 and 2015 Kuwait Concours.

Make Ford
History
Year 1930
Owned by Guy Bromley, sold to Jimmy Iqbal. Acquired by John Wroe in 1992, who had acquired the car from Choda scrap metal merchants. John had been after the car for many years but they would not sell it, during which time many parts disappeared, including the original seats. When he eventually acquired the car, he had endless problems during the restoration until it was discovered the chassis was twisted. In 2009 the car was with City Panel who had straightened the chassis and were doing the body work prior to upholstering the car.
