History          
Year 1974
Built between 1967 and 1970 by Allan Gillespie using a new Ford Escort. Fitted with Formula 1 suspension, a Hewland FG500 gearbox and originally a Mazda rotary motor, all steel body including the flared wheel arches. Now fitted with a BMW motor ex the Davey II. Purchased in 1980 by Trevor Ansley. The car was very quick in the early 1980s in the hands of John Love. Last run about 1983/84. Currently in South Africa together with the Davey II.
