1962 from a mission station in the Fort Roseberry
district, believed to have been imported by
missionaries in 1926 for use in the bush. Competed
in the 1962 Copperbelt Inaugural Vintage Run, and
every run til l1968, twice winning the Concours
d'Elegance. Twin cylinder, air cooled side.valve
engine, Amal carburettor, dry multiplate clutch,
Sturmey Archer gearbox. Owned by J. Williamson in
1970. Later acquired by Peter Dahl who has used the
bike on a number of DJ runs in South Africa. |
