Originally owned by Sir Ernest
Oppenheimer in South Africa, the car later founds
its way to Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia where it
was converted into a Hearse. The car was at some
stage acquired by Tom Jennings' father and given
to Tom to restore, having been unused for about 5
years. The engine of this car was shot, so Tom
acquired the engine from the Studebaker
Indianapolis and rebuilt it into this car. At the
same time he converted the car back into a
limousine. Sold at some stage to a relative,
George Parkin. The car is believed to have gone to
Louis Trichard, South Africa.
