Year	1926	Understood to be the oldest Chevrolet sedan and the only Model K Sedan in South Africa. Originally owned by a farmer in Port Alfred, it then passed onto another farmer in Aliwal North in 1928. He sold ti to a garage in Aliwal North from whom W. 'Jock' Simpson caquired the car in 1957. After Jock the car went to Fred Aulfes of Greytown, Natal. It passed onto Rudolph Stegen of Pietermaritzburg around 1997. Unknown if still in South Africa. 1926 not 1927 as sometimes noted.

Year	1926/27	Owned by Mr. H. Denholm Nicholson, having been acquired from a scrap yard in the Orange Free State, after the original owner have traded it in for a new car. Completely stripped and rebuilt at the owner's farm, by farm labour supervised by K.R. Reitz. This mode was first introduced in South Africa in 1927 though it had been manufactured in 1926.
